Director of Social Investing
Jiten is the Director of Social Investing for The Pershing Square Foundation, where he helps source, diligence and oversee the Foundation’s investments in social enterprises, as well as develops and implements investment strategies to advance the Foundation’s mission and impact.
Jiten joined The Pershing Square Foundation from Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners (MSIP), a global private equity fund focused on investing in and managing assets in the transportation and utilities sectors. During his time at MSIP, Jiten was involved in multiple transactions and public-private partnerships in a variety of infrastructure sub-sectors such as parking meters, electricity transmission and distribution, power generation, container terminals and toll bridges. He also served on the Board of Directors of MATEP, a tri-generation power plant that provides electricity, steam and chilled water to six hospitals in Boston’s Longwood Medical Area.
Earlier in his career, Jiten worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Wachovia Securities, providing advisory and capital-raising services to clients in the Consumer & Retail sector.
Jiten holds a B.S. from Boston University and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
