Can a Magazine Change a Country? One Year Later, an Update on Forbes and Liberia

Quietly, we were also testing a hypothesis: In an age when it’s cool to dismiss the power of “old media,” could a magazine, using its convening power, its vibrant digital platform and ability to shine a definitive spotlight on an issue, positively change the outlook for an entire country? In this case, Liberia, the world’s eighth-poorest.
