2017 Pershing Square Oxford Scholars Trek
In July 2017, the Oxford Pershing Square Graduate Scholars visited New York City for the program’s annual trek hosted by the Pershing Square Foundation. The Oxford Pershing Square Scholars participated in meetings and workshops with leading innovators and change makers including The Social Entrepreneurs Fund, YearUp, Innocence Project, Donors Choose, Echoing Green, Crisis Action, Social Finance, Endeavor, Robin Hood, Digital Divide Data, and Practice Makes Perfect. In addition to meeting with leading innovators in the social sector, the Oxford Pershing Square Scholars visited arts institutions including the Park Avenue Armory, Signature Theatre, and The Highline. Every year, the Pershing Square Foundation awards up to 5 full scholarships to support outstanding students on the 1+1 Oxford MBA program, covering both the Master’s degree and the MBA year. The Oxford Pershing Square Graduate Scholars also benefit from opportunities for mentorship and network with inspirational individuals and organizations that are part of the Foundation’s community.
