Jeanne B. Ackman, MD is an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School and Radiologist in the Division of Thoracic Imaging and Intervention at Massachusetts General Hospital. Prior to these appointments, she performed general radiology in private practice for ten years. Her academic interests include Thoracic MRI and the thymus. She has written many research papers, review articles, and textbook chapters, lectures nationally and internationally in these subject areas, and is lead author of the American College of Radiology (ACR) Appropriateness Criteria’s Imaging of Mediastinal Masses. She currently serves on the ACR Appropriateness Criteria Expert Panel for Systemic Oncology. She has received many awards for her service as a peer reviewer for academic journals.
Dr. Ackman serves on the International Thymic Malignancy Interest Group (ITMIG) Education Committee, Mediastinal Working Group, Scientific Program Committee, and Membership Committee. At Harvard, she is a member of the Harvard Medical School Global Health and Service Advisory Council.
Dr. Ackman serves on the Pershing Square Foundation Advisory Board and the Prize Advisory Board of the Pershing Square Sohn Cancer Research Alliance.
